Kyle Doll did not get many opportunities in the run-oriented offense at Texas A&M Consolidated High School until recently.

The Tigers lost their top two quarterbacks forcing Ricky Smith, son of Mississippi State cornerbacks coach Melvin Smith, under center. Now Smith and Doll have given the Tigers a formidable passing threat accounting for 104 yards and two touchdowns in their two games together.
